Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is a top pick for those who appreciate a sophisticated atmosphere coupled with a menu that boasts robust flavors. Their steaks are a must-try, perfectly charred and seasoned, providing a high-end dining experience that’s a hit every time we stop.
Bob Evans, on the other hand, is the go-to for a more relaxed, homestyle meal. It’s a favorite among my passengers for its comforting, hearty breakfasts and a welcoming vibe that feels just like visiting family. Their biscuits and gravy and the sunrise breakfast are personal recommendations for a satisfying start to the day.
Cracker Barrel offers a unique combination of a country store and restaurant, making it not just a place to eat but a wonderful spot to explore. In Grove City, two standout restaurants are Fat Eddy’s Bar-B-Que and Hoss’s Restaurant, each offering distinct local flavors that can compete with, and even surpass, some of Erie’s dining options.
Fat Eddy’s Bar-B-Que is a true gem for barbecue enthusiasts. Their smoky, slow-cooked meats are a testament to traditional BBQ methods. Special mentions for this place, as they used to be at Millcreek Mall. Last time I was shopping in Erie PA, which was late November 2023, I discovered that this epic store has since moved from the mall, by the Lowes on Peach Street. The Actual location address for your GPS is 1900 Keystone Dr, Erie, PA, however if you’re leaving Mill Creek mall, existing onto Peach street, turn left toward the interstate.
Bargain hunters will appreciate Burlington Coat Factory, where designer labels can be found at discounted prices. – And deals too. I bought a 20 pack of brand name toothbrushes for three dollars!
